QUALIFICATIONS:

Ensures that the rules and regulations of the organization are followed properly. Ensure that regulations, rules, policies and laws are adhered to. Prevent unethical, illegal or improper conduct within organization. Able to interact with people from other areas and communicate effectively with them the issues that are related to compliance. Assist investigation and resolution of any problems using existing resources. Monitors the activities of all other departments to identify possible trends. Carry out evaluations of the compliance activities throughout the organization and provide reviews. Prepare agency for certification evaluations with governing bodies.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Monitors numerous agency compliance requirements
  • Assist with request for proposals (RFP's) for additional services.
  • Works with Leadership to research BH/DD funding opportunities.
  • Coordinates data collection and generates reports.
  • Uses word-processing, database, spreadsheet, email and presentation software proficiently to perform duties.
  • Maintains a consistent, high quality, consumer-focused orientation when conducting and providing services to consumers, staff, board members and community.
  • Serves as consumer rights/complaints committee chairman
  • Serves as liaison between Executive Director and Board.
  • Works with Leadership in Public Relations and Communications efforts
  • Assists the Executive Director in organizing and executing routine activities and special projects.
  • Represents the Executive Director in various matters and serves as liaison between the office and other staff, community, consumers and outside organizations.
